PATIENT RIGHTS
  • To receive respect for any special preferences, spiritual or cultural needs as requested
  • To receive respect for personal dignity and privacy during examination, procedures, and treatment
  • To have protection from neglect or abuse
  • To refuse treatment
  • To have confidentiality about patient information
  • To seek additional clinical opinion (second opinion)
  • To have information (consent) before transfusion of blood or blood components, anesthesia, surgery, initiation of any research protocol, and any other invasive/high-risk procedure/treatment
  • To complain and be informed on how to voice a complaint
  • To have information on expected cost of treatment
  • To have access to his or her clinical records
  • To have information on care plans, progress, and healthcare needs
PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide complete and accurate information including full name, address, and other information
  • To be on time in case of appointment
  • To cancel or reschedule so much in advance as possible in case of cancellation or rescheduling of the appointments
  • To attend follow-up appointments as requested/advised
  • Provide complete and accurate information about his/her health including present condition, past illness, hospitalization, medication, and any other matters that pertain to his/her health
  • To follow the prescribed treatment plan and carefully comply with the instructions given
  • To take medicines, which are prescribed till the course of treatment is completed
  • Not to take any medications without the knowledge of the Doctor and healthcare professionals
  • Not to give medications prescribed for him/her to others
  • To communicate with the healthcare provider if his/her condition worsens or does not follow the expected course
  • To respect the fact that other patients' medical conditions may be more urgent than his/her case and accept that the doctor needs to attend them first
  • To respect that admitted patient and patients requiring emergency care are priority for your doctor
  • Provide complete and accurate information for insurance claims and work with hospital and billing offces to make payment arrangements
  • To accept financial responsibility for healthcare services received and settle bills promptly and timely
  • Abide by all hospital rules and regulations
  • Comply with the NO SMOKING policy
  • Comply with the visitor policies to ensure rights and comfort for all patients
  • Be considerate of noise levels, privacy, and Safety
  • Weapons are prohibited on premises
  • Treat hospital staff, other patients, and visitors with courtesy and respect
  • To accept, where applicable, adaptations to the environment to ensure a safe and secure hospital stay
  • To accept the measures taken by the hospital to ensure personal privacy and confidentiality of medical records
  • To accept the statutory requirements of disclosing his/her medical facts to Health/ Legal authorities
  • To understand the charter of rights and seek clarification if any

HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

NORMAL BOOKING

Normal bookings at Shenoy Hospitals are done on a first come-first served basis. You can book an appointment by calling our Call Center No.: 040-41519999/7337277787. Thereafter, post checking of vitals, our Team Doctor will diagnose you and request you to conduct the tests as required. The Doctor will prescribe medicines which can be purchased at Shenoy Hospitals pharmacy. Then you'll be explained the dosages and if necessary will be given a next appointment

TELE-CONSULTANCY

Shenoy Hospitals along with its advanced technology also has facilities for Tele-Consultancy. You can book an appointment by calling our Call Center No.: 040-41519999/7337277787. Our operators will help you fix the date and time with a Doctor with whom you can correspond online through a video call. The operators will guide you on how to complete the billing formalities online. Thereafter, the appointment will be finalized.
